Black Desert Online

Black Desert Online seems to be on fire as of late. The game released on Steam, and was shown to be coming to Xbox One via the presentation at E3 2017. And in what appears to be an attempt to keep the momentum rolling, they’ve revealed a new class that’s coming to the game in the form of a Mystic. This female-specific class has not only gotten detailed via a press release, but they’ve also given a trailer for her as well.

Seemingly a counterpoint to the Striker class that was brought to the game in May, the Mystic is also a strong martial artist. One who isn’t afraid to use her moves to “bedazzle” her foes.

Her backstory though is one filled with tragedy. She was part of a village that had been destroyed during the war. Feeling alone, she lost all hope, and didn’t want to continue on. But, a martial arts master found her, and restored in her the hope for the future, and began to train her in the arts.

Though she had great potential, and a mind that allowed her to overcome most mental obstacles, her training was not easy. The people of the land she now lived in discriminated against her, both for her looks and for how easy the martial arts seemed to come to her. Soon, the master gave her a sparring partner, one she felt she could connect with. However, this man left one day without saying goodbye, and so she took it upon herself to go and find him.

In terms of skills, the Mystic is a very strong fighter. She specializes in kicks, and can even use a shoulder charge attack to ram through enemies and make some space. Add that to fierce punches and combos, and this is one lady you don’t want to mess with.

The Mystic will come to Black Desert Online first in Korea, but will be distributed to the rest of the world later on.
