Action RPG Dragon Nest R will be implementing a large-scale update later this month, according to sources. The update will introduce the new class Nightmare Magica, which was first showcased at a fan event in 2016, as well as other features.
Other big news has also been revealed for Dragon Nest R, as the game will be introducing PvE for the first time in the R world, which will be coming sometime in the first half of 2017. This will offer a different experience from the usual PvP content, and will potentially be held under the moniker of Dragon World War II. “Hayes Run Dragon Nest” will also be introduced sometime in March, with currently planned areas including Korea, China, Japan and Taiwan.
As for Nightmare Magica, this Gaiden character presents a Sorceress for players to take control of, set on the darkness side as opposed to light. Players who choose to take advantage of Nightmare Magica will set aside justice to obtain powerful forces to use nightmarish magic to gain power. To take control of this power, select Magica in character selection, after which you will transform to Nightmare Magika after completing a specified level 50 awakening quest. This will feature a mid to long distance magic attack as its main form of attack, as well as dealing hefty damage in a party role.
The update for Dragon Nest R will be continuous throughout the first half of the year, with the first of the major changes scheduled to be coming on January 25th.
