Legends are one of the coolest things about our world. They feed us with ideas of what the old world was like, or even what it could’ve been like. And then there are legends about things, people, or creatures that we know don’t exist, but are too cool to not think about. One of the greatest of these legends is dragons. Dragons have been referenced in numerous cultures all over the world long before the age of literature. And it’s led may to want to think about what it would be like to have a dragon, or be a dragon. A game has just launched on Kickstarter that’ll let you know that answer. This is Skyfear.

Set in an age long gone, long before man came to rule the world, you’ll be your own dragon (or wyvern as they’re also called in the game) and become strong in order to rule the sky and the ground. But what makes Skyfear truly unique isn’t just that you can battle in the air and on the ground with various enemies, or not even that you can battle other friends who have the game, and not even that you can grow and customize your dragon the way you want. What separates the game is the world itself.

Skyfear

In Skyfear, the world is prehistoric, and thus, it is unpredictable. There are many regions in this land that you can explore, but with each one comes new dangers, new threats, and new ways to be tested.

You’ll need your dragon to be strong in order to survive all that is out there in the world, will you be able to rise up and rule?

Skyfear is asking for $8000, and will be on Kickstarter until September 16th. So, don’t miss your chance to try and be a dragon.
