Blizzard is making the most out of this month by giving World of Warcraft players many reasons to play during May. For those who crave action and not just adventure, there’s a special Battlegrounds event going on this week that’ll get you not only some items, but a boost in Honor if you choose to participate in it. As Blizzard notes, this is part of their rotating events schedule, where they will give players something new to do and earn this week.
For the Battlegrounds event, they recommend you start out with visiting Archmage Timear near Violet Hold in Dalaran who has a special quest for you. He wants you to win four random Battlegrounds matches. If you are able to do this, you’ll will earn 5 Marks of Honor, a Badge of Honor ( which is worth 1000 Honor), and a Glory of the Melee Artifact Power token.
As if that wasn’t enough, for any Battlegrounds match you participate in, you’ll earn 50% more Honor than before. So if you feel you’ve been slacking off in the Honor department, or if you haven’t been happy with your production of it, this is your chance to make up ground. Just remember, it’ll only last until Tuesday.
Don’t know how to do Battlegrounds matches? No worries, Blizzard spelled out how to do it. All you do is go to Group Finder, go to the Player Vs Player tab, pick Casual then Random Battleground, and then join the battle. There are 11 different Battlegrounds in World of Warcraft, they are: Alterac Valley, Arathi Basin, Battle for Gilneas, Deepwind Gorge, Eye of the Storm, Isle of Conquest, Silvershard Mines, Strand of the Ancients, Temple of Kotmogu, Twin Peaks, and Warsong Gulch.
So don’t miss the opportunity to have some fun battling as well as earn some extra Honor this week. And be on the lookout for the next event.
