The community for the sandbox MMORPG Black Desert Online have been discussing Node Wars, and whether or not they are worth doing anymore. The battle for Nodes rewards players with Guild gains, in which winning a Conquest war will “bring a tremendous amount of tax collection to your guild.”
With that in mind, a few members of the BDO community decided to share their opinions on the message boards. The discussion began when member Obeah posted the following image, with the tagline: “Seems like people moving to avoid Node Wars.”
Member Woots believes that the reason is down to the unbalanced nature of the Node Wars. The post states:
because only a few ppl are really interested into a broken RNG unbalanced gear2win pvp.
Whilst member Sorah believes that if the events were placed on a weekend they would be more accessible:
Yeah seems popular tho would be more popular if they moved the start times back an hour and moved conquest to a different day so Fri Sat and Sun could be better for those who could only login during that days.
Black Desert Online released in 2014 in Korea, followed up by releases in Japan and Russia in 2015, and North America and Europe in 2016, having been in development since 2010.
