Running from now until July 3rd, ArcheAge Begins is currently enjoying its second global closed beta test. If you’re interested in participating, anyone can do so simply by downloading the game over on Google Play, giving eager fans the chance to experience to mobile adaptation based on the popular MMORPG ArcheAge. Special events will be on hand for you to take part in during this time, before the game’s full launch later this year.

Expected to release in the third quarter of 2017, ArcheAge Begins takes place in the same universe as its older PC based brother, as part of the world created by the renowned fantasy author Min-hee Jeon. Developed using Unreal 4 engine. ArcheAge Begins will offer players a “compelling gameplay experience with striking visuals, evolved combat mechanics and varied content” according to a recent press release. A new flip-style battle method will be available in the game, which aids its transition to the mobile platform with an easy to use system.

Both single-player and multiplayer game modes will be featured, with the latter allowing players to take part in real-time raids with fellow users from all around the world. In addition to this, ArcheAge Begins also includes “life style” features, such as commerce, fishing and trading.

The first beta test was held back in March, and received a positive response from players who participated, particularly from the western regions of Europe and North America. The second beta is underway now, available in English, Japanese, Korean and both simplified and traditional Chinese.
