Arcfall is an MMO game where you get to enter a world that is filled with opportunities. No need to buy weapons and armour from NPCs, you can craft them yourself. You can even get yourself a house, and then customize it to look however you want it to. The players can do whatever they want to, and your character has a lot of customization options. It’s an MMO that could have a really interesting PvP system, and it was supposed to be released with the next patch, but apparently it’s been delayed.
The PvP system is now set to come to Arcfall in approximately two weeks, but the developers had a pretty good reason behind it. As they are working hard on going from pre-alpha into the Alpha phase, they would have to do a full wipe for all the ready systems, such as taming, mounts, stealing, and others. That would mean that they would do another wipe after today, and then again in two weeks, and that would be pretty pointless. So they moved back the PvP system release to August 25.
They did, however, give a few hints as to what players can expect in the upcoming PvP system. It will work based on Karma Points. Players that have less than -500 points have PvP automatically turned on, and they can’t turn it off themselves. Those that have above -500 points can decide whether to turn PvP on or off. Just be careful, because whenever you loot a body of a dead player you turn on PvP automatically. Turning the PvP off has a 30-minute cooldown, so you can’t abuse turning it off and on again. So when you want to reduce your karma, you need to kill players and do bad rep quests, and you can increase it by helping players and doing good rep quests.
