The anticipation continues to build for Pokémon Sun and Moon, which received a new trailer showing off several new Pokémon, a Pokémon Snap-style mechanism and new cast members.
New features in the video also reveal a quest to find pieces of legendary Pokémon Zygarde which are scattered across the region of Alola. A key new addition in particular is the Pokedex now including a camera for players to take pictures of Pokémon with in the wild. The feature, known as the Poke finder, is reminiscent of the Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Snap, which had a similar premise of roaming the world taking photographs of your favourite Pokémon. Another huge shift in the traditional gameplay is the two games being set 12 hours apart, with Pokémon Sun operating at the same time as your 3DS system, but 12 hours apart from Pokémon Moon.
Since the game was announced back in May, several starters and legendaries which are given the spotlight in the latest trailer below, including some previously unannounced ones for you to check out. These include the unique and especially strong Ultra Beasts, as well as several human characters as part of the Aether Foundation. The Foundation are a group of researchers who aid Pokémon trainers to achieve their ultimate goal of becoming a Pokémon master.
Pokémon Sun and Moon is scheduled to launch later this year on November 18th on Nintendo 3DS.
