Blade & Soul: Radiant Energy Antique Exchange Change

The Rage of the Hive Queen update brought a new Antique exchange rate for Radiant Energy in Blade & Soul, and this was a part of the new gem system which allows players to obtain, upgrade, and exchange gems more easily. This was a response by the developers to make the gem upgrades more accessible to all players, so let’s take a look at what’s changed.

Blade & Soul

The Radiant Energy exchange from last week was changed because of this new system getting implemented. The Radiant Energy exchange is constantly receiving updates and tweaks, and during the sensitive nature of this kind of thing, some changes that are made can get shifted once again if the players find them too severe. Since the player feedback concerning the Radiant Energy exchange is quite intense, some adjustments have been made.

First of all, Today’s Specials sales have been locked in weeks ahead of time. This means that the Radiant Energy that was going on sale 10/11 and 10/16 got timed out right after the livestream happened, but also before this change got announced, so to compensate for that, all purchases from Today’s Specials on 10/11 and 10/16 will get refunded but you get to keep any Radiant Energy. The other thing is the change of 1 Hongmoon Gem Powder per Radiant Energy to 10 gold, a change that should prevent a horrible influx of Gem Powders. But, this also means that some players spent a lot of gold because of this change, so your compensation is 5 extra gold per each Antique turn-in and a 7 days Premium Membership that exchanges a Radiant Energy during the 10/18 to 11/1 period.

What are your thoughts on the new system? Is this compensation enough for Blade & Soul players that spent a lot of gold already? Let us know in the comments section down below.
