ArcheAge

Its time to wrap up warm from the incoming cold, ArcheAge fans. The Winter Maiden Festival has arrived, giving players the chance to earn a selection of holiday treats through limited time events.

The Winter Maiden celebration brings a seasonal festival to Marianople and Solis Headlands. These arenas are now placed under whats known as Festive Law, and will prevent any PvP activity from taking place in these zones during the festive period. Keep in mind that if you’re in a Dominion battle, you can still be attacked.

Players are encouraged to visit the Winter Maiden’s Messenger with the capital city to begin the festivities. These quests included events involving hunting winter ghosts, building snowmen and praying for the maiden beneath the Blessed Tree. The prizes on offer include a new non-combat pet, special snowman statues, and much more from the Festival Exchanger.

Other prizes offer holiday themed plushies to keep your home filled with winter spirit all year round. Festival themed music can be acquired with the Cypress Music Box, and a selection of seasonal headwear is also up for grabs. For a comprehensive list on what prizes are on offer, click here.

It wouldn’t be a festival without achievements either, and there is a whole host to be unlocked. Should you have completed any of the quests or objectives in the previous Winter Maiden Festivals, they will be unlocked for you already. The list of achievements can be found here on the official site.

The Winter Maiden Festival kicks off today on December 21st, running through to January 11th.
