Two New Riders of Icarus Events!

Last week here on MMOExaminer, we discussed Riders of Icarus as we got an exclusive look at its crafting system. This post is centered around two upcoming events for the game. These events will continue on until July 25th.

FamiliarThe first event, titled Familiar Master will encourage players to attempt to tame all familiars. Doing so will unlock a plethora of in game items related to familiars. Here’s the information from the website.

  • Tame all Familiars in one region to receive:
    • Ground Familiar Skin Lucky Box (x2)
  • Tame all Familiars in two regions to receive:
    • Aerial Familiar Skin Lucky Box (x2)
  • Tame all Familiars in three regions to receive:
    • Premium Familiar Skin Lucky Box (x2)
  •  Tame all Familiars in four regions to receive:
    • 20 Lucky Coins
    • Effect: Taming point consumption reduced by 20% (Permanent Duration)
    • Title: Familiar Trainer (Heroic rank)

As you can see this is no con. You can earn quite a bit simply by playing the game.

The next event, titled “Prepare for the Blight of Frost Keep” encourages players to prepare for the new upcoming content. The goal? Simple as this. Level up and get ready for action! Here are the prizes listed on the website.

  • Reach Level 10 to receive:
    • Fennec Fox (7-day duration). Gives +200 HP.
  • Reach Level 15 to receive:
    • Conqueror’s Majesty (7-day duration). Gives +100 Attack.
  • Reach Level 20 to receive:
    • Lv. 45 Elite Tempering Stone (x5)
  • Reach Level 25 to receive:
    • 40 Elluns
      • Reach Level 25 on 2 characters to receive:
        • Elite Seal Stone (x1)
        • Blessed Heroic Tempering Stone (x1) (100% tempering success rate)
      • Reach Level 25 on 3 characters to receive:
        • Elite Seal Stone (x2)
        • Blessed Heroic Tempering Stone (x2) (100% tempering success rate)

If you’re interested in getting rewarded for doing better in Riders of Icarus, these two events should be on your priority list.
