Revelation Online is rocketing towards a massive release, but, in the meantime, it’s still revealing its world, and having Betas to ensure the game is ready for when it releases. Today, they’ve given us a new CGI trailer of one of their characters, as well as given us details on their next beta.

First up, the trailer, showing off their Spiritsphaper:

Now, as for the new Revelation Online beta, which they refer to as CBT3, there’s going to be a lot of additions since the last one was held. First and foremost, there’s going to be an increase in the level cap. Now, you’ll be able to go to Lvl. 69. What will this do? Well, as they outline, it’ll give you access to a great deal of new content. For example, in PVE, you’ll have access to 3 new dungeons: Grand Bulwark, Machinarium, and the Tower of Pain. Furthermore, there will be additions to the existing scour dungeons. There will be three new missions as well via Adventurer’s Guild, Faction Bulletin Requests and Reason’s Grief. A brand new map, Faerie Funland. 2 new events in Trivia God & Ninefold Assault, and last, but not least, Badges.

As for PVP updates, you’ll be able to go to Pirate Treasure: Death Island. Have fun in the 3v3 Ranked Arena, do a Death Match, a Faction War, or a Territory War. As well as get to fully embrace the Merchant System.

It is to be noted that the beta will not erase character progression from the last beta, so anything you did last time will be perfectly preserved in your character. The new beta will take place on January 19th to February 2nd, 12:00 CET (3 am PST). You can download the beta client here if you haven’t already.
