APB Reloaded

A small group of APB Reloaded fans has been working hard to deliver entertainment back to the community.

APB Reloaded players Cazadora and ChellyBean teamed up to produce an exclusive fan-made digital comic book based on the universe of the MMO shooter. With two chapters already released (a prologue and the first chapter) and a third on the way, the writers have decided to open a Q&A thread on the official forums to help keep an open line of communication with fans.APB Reloaded

With fictional characters based on models created by other players, the “pilot” chapter of the APB Reloaded fan-made comic book was first released in April 2016. Due to the small team and their busy schedules, the next release only saw the light of day in November 2016 and now they guarantee they are working as hard as they can on the third entry. Written primarily by Cazadora and ChellyBean, the team also counts with players Word2, Kyle, and Ashvan. The selection process was made through a separate thread at the official forums aiming to choose the protagonists of the story.

Regarding the Q&A thread, ChellyBean reminds fans that the should not ask to be part of the main cast or for plot details, as the story is already established and revealing details of the story could potentially ruin the experience. When inquired by user Noko¥ about the amount of action sequences present in the comic, ChellyBean responded that their intention is not to follow in Michael Bay’s footsteps, the Hollywood director known for the excessive and unnecessary action sequences present in most of his movies–notably in the live action Transformers franchise. “If we threw in everything we had in one chapter, it would make no sense. We’d be left with a bunch of cool looking, but substance-less scenes.”, she adds.
