Path of Exile - MMOExaminer

Path of Exile has just released a big update. On March 3rd, they introduced the Legacy Challenge League as well as god weapons and a slew of other things. Naturally, as it’s been a few days and players have gone through some of the content, a certain amount of bugs were found. To that end, the team focused on trying to fix them, and are set to release a new patch for update 2.6.0 today.

There was a surprising amount of bugs that were not only documented but also fixed for this patch. Ranging from the typical art glitches to the nerfing of certain items and, of course, a bug that would make the game crash. Here are some of the bugs that will be fixed with this patch.

Two bugs that would get the game to crash have reportedly been fixed. One occurred when a player would use a Tempest Leaguestone when a Tempest Prophecy was triggered, while the other was about how the game couldn’t handle multithreading, forcing players to turn it off to avoid crashing. The team relays this will be fixed and adds that multithreading can be turned back on.

Gameplay-wise, some interesting changes were made, such as how the Luring Rampage Leaguestone mod now does 20% less damage than before. Also, the Ancient Reliquary is now set to Normal Difficulty.

Add that to art bugs like changing the look of the Arcane Halo effect, or making sure that the Tormented Alchemist was called by his actual name, and you got a wide variety of fixes.

If you’ve been playing Path of Exile’s new content but haven’t been fully satisfied because of bugs or glitches you’ve noticed, fear not, they might be fixed soon.
