The Elder Scrolls Online is an MMORPG set in the same universe as titles such as Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind. The MMO is releasing a massive new DLC in June which brings us back to the province of Morrowind and today they announced that those that pre-order the PC or Mac version of the content will be able to play it in Early Access starting on the 22nd of this month.
The post on the official Elder Scrolls Online website states that players “will retain all progression when the game officially launches in June” if they decide to play the Early Access version of the Morrowind DLC. This is, however, only an option for those that purchased the content for either PC or Mac. Even fans who pre-ordered physical copies will have this opportunity. The Elder Scrolls Online website tells those particular buyers to fill out an Early Access entry form in the Elder Scrolls Online support portal in order to play on the 22nd.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is a massive addition to the already vast game world of the MMORPG. For those familiar with the 2002 title The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, this DLC will be like visiting an old friend. For those with no knowledge of the older game, it is a fresh new adventure in a brand new land.
We here at MMOexaminer have covered this DLC extensively since its original announcement. I am personally incredibly excited as I played Morrowind when it first came out and for years afterward. I am excited to help Vivec with his “mysterious illness” and deal with the tension between the Great Houses, but most of all I am excited to see Morrowind so many years before the events of the 2002 title took place.

And remember to pre-order the DLC for PC or Mac if you’re interested in playing it in Early Access on the 22nd.
