A new Zelda title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, was revealed during E3 2016 by Nintendo.
Pun unintended, the game’s graphical aesthetic was breathtaking. While ‘The Legend of Zelda’ series has always had pleasing artwork, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is another story entirely. A bright and colorful palette combined with a charming cartoon style results in what can only be described as a masterpiece.
While the trailer is technically a gameplay trailer, not much specific information can be gained from it. Viewers will watch Link as he traverses vast and open landscapes, and strategically defeats monsters. We can safely assume that the gameplay will be similar to other titles in the series because the gameplay formula has typically remained analogous.
Be sure to watch the official gameplay trailer for yourself to receive an idea of what to expect:
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is currently planned for a 2017 release. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, any gamers wishing to dive into the gorgeous kingdom of Hyrule must own a Wii U. Anyone that is interested in the game may pre-order it now from either Amazon or Best Buy for $59.99.
