MOBA players have always asked for a way to make their own tournaments, or at least a format that all players have the option of joining, and it seems like Heroes Evolved is making some steps in that direction.
The game has already had two successful tournaments: Heroes Evolved Championship and the World Finals, which proved that MOBA games really work well with eSports. Now, the developers are looking to make a tournament that all players can join, regardless of their skill level. Heroes Evolved All Stars Competition will come in 2017, and the matches will occur between the 1st and the 20th of each Month between 7PM and 10PM server time. This is the best way for every Heroes Evolved player to understand eSports and just how fun and rewarding it can be.
The January match starts on the 4th and will conclude on the 20th. Players that want to participate in Heroes Evolved All Stars Competition need to be at least level 3 or higher, you have to have at least 1300 rating points and you can’t have more than 2 abandoned matches, so make sure these requirements are met before you try to enter the competition.
The top 100 contestants will get various rewards for their efforts. Top 20 players will get a special seal that will show their undeniable skill. The map will be the same as Altar of Strife, but it can only be played in a solo match. When the event starts you will see a new map option called AoS All Stars.
Heroes Evolved is definitely making an effort to become a successful MOBA, and the All Stars Competition is a great way to start the year off!
