A new class is coming to MMORPG Black Desert Online on March 1st.
Originally from the land of Kamasylvia, the Dark Knight is a fierce warrior who fled her homeland after seeking out the forbidden powers of darkness. She is a graceful, beautiful, and dangerous opponent, wielding the imposing two-handed sword Kriegsmesser and conjuring dark magics to defeat her foes.
Both the Dark Knight class and the region of Kamasylvia will be available for Black Desert Online users on March 1st as a free update. In order to get ready for the update, players will be able to customize their Dark Knight ahead of time, as her customization options are already available in the character creation screen. Furthermore, to support the additional class, all players can receive an extra character slot from the loyalty shop at absolutely no cost, increasing their character count to 13.
With the addition of the Dark Knight, players will have 13 classes to choose from and customize through the detailed character creation, which allows even celebrity impersonations such as Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, Dr. Strange) and Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones, Terminator: Genisys). That is, as far as the user knows what they’re doing.
Developed by Pearl Abyss and published in the West by Kakao Games, Black Desert Online is a Korean MMORPG set in a seamless open world. It has been the target of controversy many times before due to its business model and how the game was designed to compel players to purchase convenience items. Changes to the business model and marketplace made headlines when players held organized protests in-game. Despite choices made by developers and publishers, the game never stopped being relevant and has seen significant changes in the last few months, making it more user-friendly than ever before.
Buy-to-play in America and Europe, Black Desert Online is available for Windows PC.
