Daily Quest: Cooking With The Old Gods

Ever since the Whispers of the Old Gods expansion launched back in April, players have been hoping for a Tavern Brawl that really utilizes the new Legendary minions to their maximum potential. This brawl takes things to the next level.

Hearth - Whispers of the Old GodsBased on the recipes mechanic where you can create a deck based on a template idea, this will push you to your limits, allowing you to use some very creative and thoughtful deck designs.

So far I’ve tried it as Mage, Warlock, and Hunter. The Hunter cards are mostly very sticky deathrattle minions. This is good, as it allows you to trade pretty freely, so that’s cool. As Mage, you’re given a lot of spells and cost-lowering cards that synergize with spells. This is of course, to prepare for Yogg-Saron. There were a few C’Thun decks as well and I can assume some for N’Zoth also. The Old Gods were very much present here.

My Warlock deck was filled with overwhelming small minions like 1/1 and 2/1 types. Didn’t care for that one very much though. The beauty is that I don’t even really have to tell you the strategy, all you have to do is read what they show you when you first start playing.

Hearthstone fans, get ready for one of the more interesting tavern brawls. Use it to rack up those daily quests, because before long, you’ll be able to by One Night in Karazhan, especially if you’ve saved the right amount of gold. Win that free pack and show your enemies who’s boss!
