Crowfall Reaches 35% Stretch Goal In Crowdfunding

Crowfall is a Throne War MMO being made by ArtCraft Entertainment. The game is in development right now, and the team is raising money, or at least, they are for the company. ArtCraft decided to do a fundraiser to get investors for the company, and by extension, for Crowfall.

While this may seem odd, as there is Kickstarter and Indiegogo out there to help raise money to make games, what they’re offering for being an investor was apparently very appealing. For not only have they raised over $10,000,000 with almost 160,000 backers, they went the extra mile, and have hit their second stretch goal. Reaching over, repeat OVER, 35% of their initial goal. Which, as the team notes, is 35% over the goal that the set because that was how much they were legally allowed to raise.

To those that backed and/or invested in the company during this phase of the crowdfunding, they will be given special rewards. For Investors, they will geta Villa personal house and a Woodland Grove resource parcel. As for Backers, they will get the Woodland Grove resource parcel.

So, what now? Well, the team is now prepping for its last (presumably) stretch goal, 50% over the amount they initially wanted. What is the reward if they reach that amount? It’s called the Fallen Colosus Parcel. And all investors, who back the project before this goal is reached, will get this as a reward.

So while it may have been an interesting move to get money, it appears Crowfall, and of course ArtCraft Entertainment, is in safe hands for the near future.
