Say what you will about Blizzard, but they are masters of planning ahead for their titles, especially when it comes to World of Warcraft. The popular MMORPG often has special events or tasks planned months in advance. Case in point, when Patch 7.1.5 was released earlier in the year, they revealed a number of Micro-Holidays. These are one-day events that players could partake in to shake things up. Well, Blizzard has decided to repost these holidays to remind you of what’s coming, including one happening right now.

Today, April 28th, is “Volunteer Guard Day.” That means you have the option of going to a major city within World of Warcraft and taking the place of a guard so you can see what it’s like to protect a city. You’ll need to be patient and stay vigilant because invaders could come out of nowhere. Will you be able to be the best guard there is? Today is your day to find out!

If you’re looking for something a bit more fun to do, you won’t have to wait much longer. On May 10-12th, you’ll get to partake in the Spring Balloon Festival. This will let you and other players rise into the skies above Azeroth and partake in its beauty in a way players rarely get to do. This is a great way to meet other players and talk about how great Azeroth is.

On May 27th, you’ll get to do the Glowcap Festival, in which you’ll go to Sporeggar in Zangarmarsh where you’ll collect rare mushrooms to help the sporelings heal the great mushroom Fshoo.

Finally, on June 6th-8th, you’ll get to do the Thousand Boat Bash, where you’ll get to party and forget about the dangers that lie within World of Warcraft. So, if these holidays sound fun, be sure to check them out!
