Halloween is understandably everywhere you look at the minute given the time of year, and video games are no exception to the rule. As everybody prepares to celebrate the most haunted holiday of the year in just a few weeks time, indie smash hit Rocket League is getting in on the spooky bandwagon with their own spin on Halloween.

A set of in-game items are set to be introduced for a limited time only to mark the occasion, completely free of charge. Toppers and antennas will be a key feature to the addition, including a new ‘Bone King’ topper, which adds a skull sporting a crown for the roof of your battle vehicle, whilst a ‘Fuzzy Skull’ will be the antenna to accompany the update. More of a ghost kinda person? Check out the spooky yet adorable Ghost to accompany you on the field, and try equipping the Netherworld Rocket Boost to leave a trail of souls behind you.

You can expect these treats (or tricks?) to appear as random drops around October 18th, similar to last year’s Halloween additions. These neat little features will be available for free, but only until November 1st, so be sure to get your hands on them beforehand.
